Sunshine Interviews

Hello and happy Thursday!

I thought I'd pop by to share a lot of love for some other blogs who have been super kind and have recently invited me to have a chat and publish little interviews about me, the kitties and my business. I always feel completely overwhelmed when anyone asks me to chat about what I do and wants to publish it on their blogs - it's a real honour and I just hope that people enjoy reading the waffle I come out with!

Live it. Love it. Make it

The gorgeous Sammy and H from this fantastic blog invited me to be a guest in their Makers Month series. They are the NICEST and I love everything about their blog and the way they work together! The sentiment behind the brand and what their blog is about is perfect too:

Live it. Explore where you live, make the most of the area you live in, but don't be afraid to venture further afield in search of inspiration... and cake.

Love it. Enjoy your life and what you do, spend each day noticing the simple things to make your life the best it can be.

Make it. We encourage you all to have a go, learn a new skill, create and inspire others to make the world around you unique as you are.

I highly recommend you check out the blog if you don't already follow along and you can read the little interview I did with them by following this link:

Handmade Nottingham

I'm sure you all know how much I love Handmade Nottingham and the amazing Rhea who runs this perfect little shop in the heart of Nottingham. Not only does Handmade Nottingham supporting so many local creatives by showcasing and selling so may wonderful things, they also now organise and host market events at the Malt Cross. I was lucky enough to get into the first one in the Summer and it was great fun. The Malt Cross was decked out in the most amazing bunting and paper decorations, there were stalls everywhere and the buzz in and around the bar was brilliant!

Rhea has started a Meet the Maker series over on the Handmade Nottingham blog, which features everything from meeting the lovely folk who stock the shop and behind the scenes peeks to DIYs and tutorials. I was thrilled to be asked to take part and you can read the post here:

If you're ever in Nottingham make sure you pop in and have a nosey around the gorgeous shop (take all of your pocket money!) and also enjoy a coffee and cake next door in the grand surroundings of the Malt Cross which is wonderful old Victorian music hall.

Cry Baby Club

Over the Summer I started chatting the absolute babe that is Kaitlyn, who runs the Cry Baby Club blog over in Milwaukee. Possibly one of the sweetest, nicest girls I ever did meet (even if it is only over the internet!) I love the Cry Baby Club and everything they stand for, I mean just read their intro:

Welcome to the corner of the internet where it's ok to cry! We are an all inclusive girl gang and flair shop dedicated to celebrating sensitivity as a strength, lifting each other in love and support, and proving that just because we cry doesn't mean we cant get things done. We are so glad you are here.

It's so important to embrace your feelings and NEVER be ashamed to show or share how you're feeling, especially if you're struggling. That's why I love the Cry Baby Club and when Kaityln invited me to work on something bespoke for their subscription box I jumped at the chance! You can have a peek at what I created for the box and read a bit more about why I think feelings are important and what makes me blub over on the Artist Spotlight feature here:

Simply Stylish Makes

Simple Stylish Makes is a blog ran by a group of super creative and utterly wonderful creatives, Jo of Adventure and Tea Parties being one of them! When Jo contacted me over the Summer for a quick chat and a peek in to the world of Hello Sunshine I was more than happy to jump on board. Grab a brew and have pop over to see what we nattered about here:

As well as working on the Simple Stylish Makes blog, Jo also makes beautiful personalised and hand embroidered handkerchiefs, handmade bow ties, pocket tissue holders, key rings and jewellery. Make sure you pop over to her own blog, check out her colourful instagram feed and shop the many pretties of her Etsy shop.

So, there you have it, four amazing blogs that I am absolutely honoured and thrilled to be a part of recently! I hope you've enjoyed reading about them and more importantly I hope you enjoy exploring them all and I may have introduced you to some wonderful new corners of the internet!

Thank you for reading and have a lovely evening!
