YAY! Festive event dates for your diary...

Have you got your diary? Have you got a pen? ...and most importantly, have you got your Christmas shopping list handy?

Good stuff, as I have three very important dates for your diary this festive season!

24th - 25th November
First up for the diary is the weekend of the 24th and 25th of November for the Harley Gallery Christmas Arts & Food Markets.

Enjoy over 55 art and craft stalls featuring work from the region's finest creative talent, all handpicked by The Harley Gallery. Plus, there's plenty to tempt your
taste buds with over 20 stalls from local and specialist food producers.

So you can try cheese, beer, bread and chocolate made on the Welbeck Estate, AND shop for unique handcrafted treasures, what more could you ask for?

The Harley Arts and Food Market and Harley Open Studios is on 24th November 10am - 5pm and 25th November 10am - 4pm and this fab event can be found on the A60 between Mansfield and Worksop.

1st - 2nd December
Next up... to welcome December why not plan a visit to the Nottingham Contemporary Christmas Craft Fair on 1st December from 10am - 6pm and 2nd December from 11am - 5pm.

Drop in, collect a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie from the Cafe bar and peruse work by some of the most exciting designers and makers from the East Midlands. You can find beautiful treasures in The Space with jewellery, home wares, vintage clothes, illustration and much more.

Check out the talent over at there facebook page and see which creative folks will be there to woo you with their crafty designs and wares.

8th - 9th December
And finally, the last festive date I have for your diaries for 2012 is the magical Craft in the City Christmas fair at Waterstones on Bridlesmith Gate in Nottingham.

Pop along on Saturday 8th December between 10am - 6pm or Sunday 9th December from 11am - 4pm or more festive treasures in a beautiful cosy surrounding up on the top floor of this lovely book store.

I hope that's enough to get you excited about starting some Christmas shopping and sampling some tasty treats along the way. I for one am MOST excited about the Welbeck Farmshop's amazing stew and duck fat roast potatoes that will be on offer next weekend at the Harley Gallery *dribble*
